This 10-day journey takes you through western Uganda’s most iconic landscapes, starting from Entebbe and exploring the rich biodiversity of Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and Lake Mburo National Park. The safari combines primate encounters, classic savannah wildlife experiences, and scenic highland retreats, all while staying in carefully selected luxury lodges.

Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival, you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel. You stay at the comfortable The Boma Hotel, a charming boutique property set in an environment near Lake Victoria, perfect for relaxing after your flight. Dinner & Overnight

Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale National Park

You depart Entebbe and travel west through Uganda’s countryside, passing tea plantations and rolling hills. The journey offers scenic views as you approach Kibale. You check in at Turaco Treetops, nestled within the forest canopy, offering a tranquil and immersive rainforest experience. Dinner & Overnight

Day 3 – Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale

You spend the day in the lush forest of Kibale, tracking chimpanzees and exploring one of Africa’s richest primate habitats. The forest environment is vibrant and alive, offering a deep connection to nature before returning to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner & Overnight

Day 4 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

The journey continues south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where the scenery opens into savannah plains and crater lakes. You arrive and settle into Mweya Safari Lodge, offering spectacular views over the Kazinga Channel. Dinner & Overnight

Day 5 – Wildlife Experience in Queen Elizabeth

You explore the diverse landscapes of the park, rich with wildlife and birdlife. The Kazinga Channel provides one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda, with animals gathering along the water’s edge. Dinner & Overnight

Day 6 – Ishasha Sector and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You travel through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions, before continuing into the misty highlands of Bwindi. The dense forest creates an atmosphere of anticipation for the next day’s experience. Dinner & Overnight

Day 7 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

This is the highlight of the safari. Trekking through the forest, you encounter a family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The experience is powerful and unforgettable, offering rare and intimate wildlife interaction. Dinner & Overnight

Day 8 – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You leave the highlands and travel toward Lake Mburo, a park known for its rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and peaceful atmosphere. You stay at Mihingo Lodge, a unique eco-luxury lodge built into the rocks with stunning views. Dinner & Overnight

Day 9 – Relaxation and Exploration in Lake Mburo

The calm environment of Lake Mburo offers a relaxing contrast to earlier adventures. The park is rich in wildlife and provides a serene setting to unwind while still enjoying nature. Dinner & Overnight

Day 10 – Return to Entebbe

You travel back to Entebbe, marking the end of your safari. The journey offers a final look at Uganda’s countryside before your departure.
